Exercise 85.

Convert from Complex to Compound sentences:-

1. Once upon a time a man owned a hen which laid every day a golden egg.

2. We selected this bicycle after we had tried several times.

3. It is surprising that he did not succeed.

4. If you do not take exercise, you will be ill.

5. If you run, you will be in time.

6. He ran away because he was afraid.

7. As he was not there, I spoke to his brother,

8. Although he saw the danger, he pressed on.

9. Though you try with all your might, you will not succeed.
